The following
operational tips are provided to help suggest methods of making
chamber performance more economical, or beneficial to our customers.
|
|
The following
ideas will slightly alter chamber performance, but should help
reduce nitrogen consumption:
| |
When
conducting a thermal ramp down, turn the heating event
off. |
| |
When
conducting a thermal soak at low temperatures, turn the
heating event off. |
| |
When
conducting a thermal ramp up, turn the cooling event off. |
| |
When
conducting a long thermal soak at high temperatures with
live device under test, experiment with leaving the heat
event off. |
| |
Use
multiple PID parameter sets to improve chamber performance
based on products being tested. |
|
|
|
To help
reduce condensation on device under test, start the test profile
with a short period of time doing a dry air or gaseous nitrogen
purge of the chamber. |
|
|
Adjust
controller's high and low temperature safety limits for each
test to reduce possibility of permanently damaging device under
test. |
|
|
Calibrate
the controller and other related instrumentation regularly.
